Once designed merely for efficiency with little attention to beauty, today’s kitchens and baths have become paramount to a home’s comfort and style. Today’s kitchen is the real family room – the heart and soul of the house. Many of the kitchens we design don’t look “new”. The desire for an inviting lived-in look that encourages friends and family to linger over coffee and conversation is leading homeowners to embrace furniture-quality cabinetry and dedicated work zones. The cabinet design and layout will affect how you use your kitchen for years to come. This is why we work with you designing the kitchen layout in 3D so you can perform a virtual walkthrough in your new kitchen before a cabinet is built. This allows you to look at various options before you choose your dream kitchen.

| The easiest way to measure house air tightness is with a diagnostic tool called a blower door. The blower door consists of a powerful, calibrated fan that is temporarily sealed into an exterior doorway. The fan blows air out of the house to create a slight pressure difference between inside and outside. This pressure difference forces air through all holes and penetrations in the exterior envelope. This information allows Heritage Builders to find these leaks and lower your overall energy costs. |
